The 4th PICaboo Plenary Meeting was completed successfully on November 15th, 2023. The meeting was a 2-day event and took place at ΙΙΙ-V Lab premises in Palaiseau, France. The partners got together and discussed the project’s progress and the goals to be met.  

The PICaboo project coordinator (PCRL) participated at the Optica Advanced Photonics Congress with a PICaboo paper presentation entitled “Investigation of a Photonic Reservoir Computing Based Equalizer for Short Reach Applications”. The event took place from 9-13 July in Busan, South Korea. The Optica Advanced Photonics Congress is an inclusive and comprehensive event comprised of five topical meetings

PICaboo project partner III-V Lab, presented two papers last May, related to the PICaboo project. The presentations took place during Compound Semiconductor Week 2023 conference. The first paper is entitled ”Integration by SAG of multiple SIBH-DFB lasers with optimized performance over >100 nm in the O-band” and it is written by G. Afonso, G. Cerulo, N.Vaissiere,
